Workshops
and trainings are offered to benefit child care providers and county residents
interested in enhancing the quality of care for children. Family Resource and
Referral Center hosts this centralized system for child care-related agencies
throughout San Joaquin County.
Workshops focus on a variety of topics, such as child
development, nutrition, behavior, first aid, etc., and are designed to provide
information and technical assistance to those working with children and
families. Many workshops are offered in both English and Spanish.

ECE Workforce Registry:
The California ECE Workforce Registry is a state, regional and local collaboration designed to track and promote the education, training and expereinence of the early care and education workforce for the purpose of improving professionalism and workforce quality to positively impact children.
Effective September 7, 2017, you must obtain a personalized Early Care and Education Workforce Registry number prior to attending workshops.
Please log onto the website at https://www.caregistry.org/index.cfm to obtain your personalized registration number for training.
Registration & Attendance Guidelines:
Online workshop registration is available for FRRC
workshops only. Courses offered by agencies other than FRRC provide
registration information on the course description page.
For all FRRC workshops and trainings, the following applies:
-
To be eligible to attend some workshops, participants may be required to be
enrolled in specific projects, live within certain school boundaries, or be
licensed or non-licensed, and this is noted in the workshop summary
description.
-
The registration deadline is two business days prior to the workshop date. You
will receive a confirmation via telephone or e-mail. Alternate
registration options are provided on the course description page.
-
To maintain a professional atmosphere and to ensure the safety of all, FRRC
does not allow children in attendance at workshops. If a special workshop
is designed to have children present, that information will be available at the
time of registration.
-
A waiting list may be available the day of the workshop for non-registered
students. Admittance will be based on available seats on a first-come,
first-served basis once all pre-registered attendees have arrived.
FRRC is not responsible for any incomplete or inaccurate
information provided by the agencies that use the Countywide Training System to
post their workshops/trainings.

project was funded in collaboration with the
