Help Me Grow Program


The first years of a child's life are critical to brain development, school success, and later life outcomes.

If your child is under five years of age, Dial 2-1-1

to connect with the Help Me Grow Call Center about a FREE Ages and Stages Questionnaire to find out how your child is learning, growing, speaking and behaving for his/her age.

If you are a California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKs) recipient and have a child 0 to 3 years of age, you may qualify for FamilyWORKs.  FamilyWORKs is a FREE in-home program that matches families with trained professionals who make personal home visits during the most important years of a child’s life.

The FamilyWORKs program supports families by:

• Getting kids ready to succeed in school
• Connecting parents with supportive group meetings and community resources
• Helping with searching and applying for jobs

Get Help Accessing Denti-Cal Services for Children up to Age 20!

San Joaquin Treatment & Education for Everyone on Teeth & Health (SJ TEETH) Care Coordinators can help families with children:

•Identify and select a dental home
•Secure dental appointments
•Support attendance to dental appointments
